Just a little about me
My name is Leah. I'm 14 years old, and found the love for sketching and photography when I was about 12. I've been professionally breeding and raising Dwarf rabbits since I was 10. I recently got out of raising them, but I used to raise Holland lops, Dwarf Hotots, and Jersey Woolies. I cant tell you how absolutely fun it was to enjoy raising up your own baby bunnies and pick out the nice ones you would like to keep, and show them. So, if you were thinking about getting a bunny, I would really recommend you do so. Everyone is the rabbit business has been very nice and helping me with better stock. And I really want to thank everyone for making my Rabbitry nicer, and I dearly miss having rabbits, though I do still have a couple Pets.
I got my first camera for my 9th birthday, which I still own, but I rarely ever use it. My second camera, which I got October of last year (2012) is the camera I own now. It's the best camera I've laid hands one (which isn't very many!)! Overall it's just the perfect camera I could have even hoped for. Great zoom on it, and is just fantastic and takes such great pictures. At first I really didn't know how to work it, and I was taking pretty crappy pictures, but after awhile I learned, taking pictures with snow in the background can ruin the pictures and make them too bright. But it the camera will lighten the pictures I take when it is actually starting to darken outside. I learned that when I took pictures of a herd of Elk. The sun was down and it was pretty late, but the pictures with the camera showed up a bit lighter, but weren't crisp and clear, which I understand at that point. Overall, it's the perfect camera, especially for a beginner Photographer, like me. My Hummingbird pictures, which you can see in the photo gallery, were very hard to get. My camera didn't want to focus on the little bird perched on the branch. It wanted to focus on the Mountain and Tree's in the background. A little frustrating, yes, but with that 45 Minutes worth of frustration, I took some very nice pictures of the very tiny birds.
I love wildlife, and hopefully this year, my Family and I will be able to make it to the Glacier National Park, and I will be sure to capture some awesome moments of wildlife to add to my website. Be sure to check back in later for regular updates.
Thanks for visiting Fairy Tail's Photography and Art, and Thank you all for you comments, which I love to see.
